Headquartered in Germany, and incorporated in the United States, Italy and Spain, we are committed to informing decision makers of current and prospected cyber and geopolitical threats by providing Finished Intelligence, tailor-made for their organization.

Our Business Framework department ensures the business has the right resources and context to be successful. It currently encompasses 4 key areas: People, Finance, Legal, Investor Relations.
Job Description
Reporting to our COO, you will lead the Finance Team. Your key focuses would be:
- Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop a comprehensive financial strategy aligned with QuoIntelligence's growth goals and industry trends.
- Review, iterate and transform the financial modelling capability at QuoIntelligence.
- Collaborate with the executive team to define key financial milestones and objectives for the company's journey towards Series A funding.
- Lead the creation and execution of the annual budget for 2024, ensuring accuracy, realism, and alignment with strategic priorities.
- Series A Readiness:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to prepare financial documentation, projections, and presentations required for potential Series A investors.
- Assess and optimize the company's financial processes, systems, and reporting to meet the heightened demands of Series A scrutiny.
- Financial Reporting and Compliance:
- Develop and implement robust financial reporting systems to provide accurate and timely insights to leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and reporting standards, fostering transparency and accountability within the organization.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, analysis, and presentations for board meetings, investors, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensuring full compliance with tax regulations across all jurisdictions (Spain, Italy, Germany, USA) with the support from relevant consulting partners.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead a team of two finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, enabling their growth.
- Set clear performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and implement strategies to enhance the team's effectiveness.
- Procurement and External Support:
- Review and improve the existing accounting / payroll consulting setup to ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and best practices.
- Structure the procurement process and PoS with the right technology for streamlined and compliant decision making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, including startup or high-growth environments.
- Demonstrated success in preparing for fundraising rounds, especially Series A, and a strong understanding of investor expectations.
- Expertise in financial planning, analysis, and budgeting, with a track record of driving financial growth and stability.
- Thorough knowledge of financial reporting standards, compliance regulations, and best practices.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a passion for mentoring and developing team members.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate financial challenges and proactively recommend solutions.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools; experience with relevant accounting and reporting systems. Mastery of Excel.
- Full fluency in German (C1 at least) and knowledge of IFRS & HGB
- Holding EU Passport or valid visa / permanent residency in Germany

What's the pay like?
Since December 2022 we operate a transparent compensation framework.
The beginning of this compensation band starts at 110,000 € TTC for 2024:
- Base: 88,750 € gross annual salary
- Bonus: 20% of annual gross base salary
- Benefits: 3,500€ for Year1 as outlined below.

What's the recruitment process like?
- You apply and fill a couple of screening questions.
- We review all applications.
- We may throw in an online assessment via Vervoe and interview with our COO via MS Teams.
- We schedule the top 3-4 candidates with our CEO as well as other team members. The shortlisted candidate might as well meet a board member or two.
- We make an offer and conduct background checks via Veremark.
