Job Description
- Schedule Hours Rotate: ( 6am to 6pm and 9:00am to 9pm Mondy to Friday including weekends and holidays.) Must be flexible to change schedules.
- To ensure all Appeal and Denial Mailing jobs are batched, printed, inserted, scanned and metered properly. Most of the Appeal and Denial Mailings have time constraints that must be accomplished.
- Batch files from program to the print destination. Submit to print and keep records in sequence order.
- Make folder change ups for envelopes and equipment.
- Load stock on to the inserter feeder.
- Scanning files with hand scanner for barcode location.
- Metering and moving product for post office.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, quality standard, policies and procedures. Report any problems, potential problems, hazardous situations to management
- Inspect products and/or shipments to verify conformance to specifications
- Review and approve production samples, and/or shipments as necessary
- Assist management with implementation of “Continuous Improvement” initiatives
- Maintain records; compile standard reports, file, tabulate, and perform routine clerical tasks
- When necessary, attend production meetings and/or confer with other departments to coordinate production activities
- Coordinate or perform training for new employees, contract workers, and/or guests to ensure safety, quality, and production requirements are understood
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1 or more years of experience in a manufacturing/operations environment
- Experience with inserter equipment from Pitney Bowes, PCS access, Xerox S125 Printer, Pitney Bowes Rival Inserter, Barcode Scanner, Pitney owes Meter Machine.
- Able to consistently apply applicable policies, procedures, regulations, and program objectives when carrying out the duties of the job
- May provide oversight of work conducted by junior-level staff and/or review/audit work for accuracy.
- Must have basic knowledge of technology including computers and software programs such as MS Office, MAC word processing, spreadsheets, or other programs specific to the job in order to complete job duties successfully
- Must have adequate oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively across departments when completing assignments
- Must have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload and make adjustments to meet business needs
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and rarely lift in excess of 50 pounds
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages
- Must be able to communicate and interact with a variety of internal/external customers and/or co-workers at level of detail required to resolve issues

The pay range for this role at the noted location is $18.25 - $25.75/ hour. The actual rate of pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include, overtime, shift differential, call-in, and stand-by pay.
