Rosenberg & Associates, LLC is a real estate law firm founded in 2002. We provide a variety of real estate legal services for creditors in the MD, VA, and DC. We currently have over 150 employees spread across our locations in Bethesda, MD, Tyson’s Corner, VA, and soon to be Chesapeake VA. We specialize in creditors rights, and our clients consist of national banks and mortgage lenders.
Job Description
The primary responsibilities of an Foreclosure Intake Specialist is to collect information from our clients and external systems in an effort to draft required Affidavits for execution needed to achieve First Legal action. The ideal candidate must possess exceptional attention to detail, possess excellent communication skills, demonstrate professionalism, be accountable, be organized, have ability to prioritize tasks and able to multitask in a high volume environment.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Maintaining team queues, waiting queues and following up with outstanding items.
- Meet daily goals for number of files worked and assist in monthly team goals.
- Reviewing data entered to files by prior teams.
- Communicating with clients, via email, client database messages and phone
- Working with other team members and other teams in the department to successfully move files forward
- Request and upload documents from the client systems to our database.
- Complete document revision requests per client guidelines
- Following team notes and specific detailed instructions, this differs by each client.
- Drafting Affidavits for the attorney, team lead or manager for review
- Upload and email Affidavits for the client to execute
- Working on excel reports for clients
- Educate clients of new State Requirements as it relates to Affidavits
- Assist clients with completion of various Affidavits for execution.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience with data entry, affidavits, real estate law, foreclosure, and/or bankruptcy
- High School Diploma, College degree preferred
- Must have basic computer proficiency, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Superior attention to detail
- Ability to read and understand legal documents (including recorded deed of trust and assignments)
- Experience with internet based applications (LPS, Lenstar, Vendorscape preferred)
- Ability to thrive in a high volume, high pressure environment
Additional Information
Our office hours are 9-5:30 M-F, all candidates must be able to work these hours.
Salary will commensurate with experience.
