Job Description

Validate conceptual process from sales teams;
Lead mechanical design activities for robotics process;
Validate robotics cells cycle time for palletizing, flamming, pick and place, spot/arc/laser welding and sealer applications;
Design and validate production layouts;
Control project activities and deliveries;
Conduct internal and customer meetings for design approval;
Interface with international design suppliers;
Control productive hours of the mechanical engineering team;
Develop design and manufacturing RFQs;
Develop Installations RFQs;
Prepare design guidelines;
Technical leadership and knowledge sharing;
Able to design / review concepts on CATIA V5;
Able to review process simulations;
Deep knowlegde on mechanical design, movement mechanisms, grippers, welding fixtures and geometry fixtures;
Design of solution approaches in cooperation with the client;
Create standard processes and tools to promote reuse of technical solutions;
Train less experienced colleagues in translating concept designs to engineering documentation, including drawings and calculations;
Coordinate releases on time for commercial BoM and supply information to purchase team;
Follow up manufacturing suppliers;
Mechanical support during project installations;

Qualifications

𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:
10+ years of experience as mechanical / design engineering
2+ years of experience as team leader / coordinator
2+ years of experience with technical project management
english fluent

𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲.
Able to lead a team of 4/5 mechanical engineers, guide them according to projects planning, plan resources to attend several projects at the same time, able to do a clear communication with internal team about deadlines for each activity.
