Job Description

 

The DRE is responsible for the engineering, design, development, timing, and release of interior systems. Other responsibilities will include development and validation of assigned components and communicating technical product status and competitor benchmarking to management. Individual will be responsible for coordinating the packaging with all adjacent departments (electromechanical, electrical, lighting, trim). Will be responsible for working with virtual validation groups to ensure that the CAE scorecard is met as well as manufacturing feasibility. Will be responsible for maintaining and updating DVP&R, DFMEA. Also responsible to support & manage suppliers for quality actions and VO activities

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in Automotive, Aeronautical, Mechatronic, Mechanical, Electrical or related field

B2/C1 or advance English

3-5 years of relevant engineering experience specially in Design Interior Seating.

Experience Designing Seat chassis, textiles, foam, stamping, sheet metal, mechanic metal, structure

Experience with compontent builds and execution

Product Development

Experience with production process feasibility and developement including mold flow analysis or other interior compontent manufacturing processes

Experience with injection molding, painting, and decorating plastic components

Experience with OEM or supplier design and release

Experience with GD&T

Experience with DFMEA, DVP&R creation and execution

Knowledge in CATIA V5, Solidworks NX/Unigraphics, Teamcenter, CAD apps
