Job Description
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Deploys Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) related to the development phase (or current production phase) of the bought-out parts following the client's purchasing requirements
- Trains the suppliers and makes sure that the defined standards are properly applied and on-time delivered (APQP elements).
- Follows the Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP ) progress with the status report and makes decisions in collaboration with the program team.
- Gives recommendations and/or Technical decisions to ensure a defect-free process through program management
- Manages the process qualification at the supplier (control plan and Quality basics implementation, Trial Run @ Rate & process Audit)
- Involves in early base Plant SQA
- Pronounces Production Part Approval Process ( PPAP ) status and Ensures delivery of validated Production Part Approval Process ( PPAP ) before Start of Production (SOP) after SQA assembly trial & appearance approvals
- Monitors Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and S/R rate.
- Secures all Key characteristics (Safety and Regulations) during the Program phase
- Manages progress/convergence plan with low-performance suppliers involved in the program in collaboration with division SQD
- Under delegation and with appropriate training of Division SQD, may conduct Panel assessments with Purchasing Commodity
- You will report from the functional point of view to the Program Manager and "hierarchical" will be under ASQ Manager
Qualifications
Mandatory skills:
- Bachelor's degree/Master's degree
- 3+ years of experience in the Supplier Quality field and Automotive
- Minimum 1 year experience in a program team
- Knowledge of Project Management methodology
- APQP & PPAP validation process knowledge
- Familiarity with Quality basics, 8D/ Quick. Reaction Continuous. Improvement (QRCI) /Scrap management/ Poka- Yoke (PY) /line start-up/station audit.
- Supplier audit process knowledge
- Fluent level of English ( B2 -C1)
- Results-oriented, Ability to work in a matrix organization.
- Open to do Business trips (1 visit/ week) to the supplier's sites (in Europe) and to the plant of the client in Mioveni
- Hybrid type of work : 2 days/ week on site.
