Job Description

Position Summary:
Based out of Basrah, the Interface Manager / Project Coordinator is responsible for managing all Project interfaces, in particular those interfaces within Iraq. The Interface Manager / Project Coordinator reports to the Project Director, but assists the Project Managers, Construction Managers, Commissioning Manager and O&M Manager with all interfaces and liaison with Company.

Duties and Responsibilities:
•Consultant’s in-country representative to Company and other third parties
•Establishes and maintains and interface register identifying all known interfaces, the responsible party, and the action(s) required. Ensures that all interfaces are resolved to provide maximum benefit to the Project.
•Identify and evaluate risk with respect to the various Project interfaces that may have an impact on their assigned Contract. Update the Project a risk register with the identified risk and mitigation plans
•Assists with the implementation of all security plans and procedures
•Manages the field information gathering during EPC Design phases
•Advise the Project Director and Project Managers of developments that may affect Project HSE, costs, schedule or quality
•Be knowledgeable of PMC Agreement terms and conditions and the terms and conditions of the Contracts
•Provide regular progress reports with respect to identified interfaces to the Project Director for inclusion in the overall Project progress reports

Qualifications

Proficient in managing and directing people, communications (both written and verbal), negotiation skills, and computer skills with Microsoft Office products.
•B.Sc. in any engineering discipline or equivalent College degree or equivalent experience
•12 to 15 years Engineering and Construction experience
•Relevant experience in Project Engineering or Project Management
•Demonstrated competency in understanding of the engineering, procurement and construction processes
•Fluent in Iraqi Arabic
