Job Description
- Fabricate, install, and refurbish aircraft interior equipment and furnishings based on work orders or customer specifications.
- Perform and document all work in compliance with relevant manuals, regulations, and industry standards.
- Adhere to Bombardier's General Work Requirements for factory, shop, and/or hangar positions.
- Ensure compliance with environmental health and safety policies and procedures.
- Actively participate in 5-S activities to maintain organization and efficiency.
- Assist with additional tasks during slow periods, including drop-ins and planned maintenance work as needed.
- Clean aircraft as required to meet standards.
- Be available for international assignments, if necessary.
- Provide support for maintenance at off-site locations when needed.
- Assist with other maintenance disciplines as required to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications
- You typically have 3-5 years of experience in Interiors Removal & Installation on corporate aircraft.
- You possess the skills to dismantle cabinets, remove hardware, inlay, and more.
- You are proficient in stripping finishes using heat and scrapers.
- You have experience in sanding and preparing raw veneer and hardwood for finishing, including repairing defects in veneer.
- You are skilled in mixing, matching, and applying stains and paints to new veneers.
- You have knowledge of spraying polyester base coats and urethane top coats.
- You are experienced in performing aircraft touch-ups.
- You can effectively mask and unmask components during the finishing process.
- You demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude.
- You are capable of interpreting and working with mechanical engineering drawings.
- You can communicate clearly in both written and verbal form regarding individual or aircraft status.
- You have basic PC skills.
- US Citizenship or authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
