Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Engineer to join our aerospace team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in process improvement and configuration management, with a strong background in utilizing CATIA and MS Office tools. This position requires a candidate with at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on optimizing production processes and ensuring seamless configuration control in a high-tech aerospace environment.

  • Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to enhance production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Analyze and optimize workflows, equipment, and procedures to reduce cycle times, minimize waste, and ensure high product quality.
  • Manage product configurations, ensuring that all components, assemblies, and systems are correctly documented and tracked throughout the production lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with configuration control standards and support changes to product configurations as needed.
  • Work closely with the production team to provide technical support and resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance product manufacturability and participate in design for manufacturability (DFM) reviews.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer, with a strong background in process engineering and configuration management, ideally within the aerospace industry.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in CATIA for 3D modeling, engineering drawing creation, and product configuration management.
    • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and techniques.
    • Solid understanding of configuration management principles and experience managing BOMs and product revisions.
    • Proficiency in MS Office tools, particularly Excel for data analysis, reporting, and tracking project metrics.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across teams.
  • US Citizenship or authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
