Job Description

The Engine Mechanic troubleshoots, performs maintenance, and repairs aircraft engines and related aircraft components.
 

  • Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on engines and related aircraft problems
  • Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required 
  • Remove / install / replace aircraft engines and accessories
  • Perform and document work performed per appropriate manuals and regulations as required
  • Assist with performing complete engine runs
  • Operate ground support equipment
  • Assist with off-aircraft component repair
  • Perform mechanical/ electrical removals and installations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  •  Hold a valid Airframe & Powerplant Certificate 
  • 5 years of experience on heavy aircraft maintenance
  • Experience in A/C turbine engine maintenance 
  • Experience on either corporate or commercial jet aircraft (preferred)
  • Tug qualified (preferred)
  • Forklift qualified (preferred)
  • Ground Support Equipment qualified (preferred)
  • Basic PC skills
