Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Victor, United States. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving our facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all occupants.

  • Complete work orders and general maintenance projects throughout the community
  • Perform repairs and prepare apartments for new move-ins
  • Conduct installations and repairs involving plumbing, electrical equipment, and carpentry
  • Handle painting, equipment repair, pressure washing, and basic landscaping tasks
  • Order and organize maintenance supplies as needed
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of projects
  • Maintain accurate records of completed work and inventory
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations at all times
  • $19- $21/hr 

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Carpet cleaning experience is required
  • General mechanical and/or electrical knowledge is preferred
  • Basic understanding of plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent communication abilities with a positive attitude
  • Self-motivated with a can-do approach to tasks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
  • Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record may be required
