Team
This position reports to the Director, Security Engineering. The Security Engineering team targets building state-of-the-art technology that will help reduce the risk surrounding the sensitive assets of the company with the least impact possible on operations, acts as guidance and facilitator to the security operations teams and helps shifting Security perception from blocker to enabler by building a relationship of trust with the other teams.
Role
As the Senior Manager of the Infrastructure Security Engineering team, you will be responsible for the team that implements most comprehensive security solutions, standards, and controls for ServiceNow’s platform across on-prem and to each public cloud installations supporting the security needs of our regulated and non-regulated market environments.
What you get to do in this role:
Define vision and drive execution of technical strategies to secure ServiceNow’s production infrastructure
Lead and mentor a team of Infrastructure Security Engineers.
Drive cross functional execution to build and manage cutting-edge security solutions
Provide technical expertise throughout the design, implementation, and delivery of scalable services and infrastructure
Bring data to every decision and demand others to do the same
Build relationships with other Security Teams and other Engineering Teams to help us to realize company-wide material improvements to our security posture
Qualifications
In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:
10+ years of relevant work experience in Software and Security Engineering including hands-on technical management.
Knowledge and experience across multiple security domain areas (Network Security, Server Security, IAM, etc.) in design & architecture
Knowledge and experience in software development and software architecture
You must be eligible for adjudication to access our US regulated market environments. Permanent residency or citizenship is required.
Strong people leadership with a focus on developing talent and a collaborative team atmosphere.
Strong problem-solving skills across security and software engineering
Strong ability to understand and apply data for diagnostics, acting proactively, and for making the case for new solutions
Experience in Agile development practices
Working knowledge of compliance and regulatory standards
Ability to build trust relationships with external teams.
