Job Description

The Solution Consulting Academy is an integral component of our Associates program, aimed at attracting new talent to our organization and providing training to individuals in the early stages of their careers.

ServiceNow is looking for a Solution Consulting Academy Manager who will be a player-coach for early in career individuals and develop them into world class solution consultants. 

The Solution Consulting Academy Manager is responsible for the organization and planning of the enablement of Associate Solution Consultants (presales), the day-to-day management and their progression within the program. 

The ideal candidate has hands-on technical experience in presales along with the experience of recruiting, hiring and developing early in career talent. You have an enablement background and understand enterprise selling, ideally in a cloud environment. You must have superlative communication skills, the ability to present, and confidence in communicating with leadership. As your primary goal will be the successful nurturing of new talent, you should have experience with providing 1:1 coaching, guidance, and management. 

What you get to do in this role:

  • Manage day-to-day activities of the SC Academy associates 
  • Plan and organize the enablement schedule and activities 
  • Train/coach the early in career Associates on desired sales skills, methodologies, processes and career development activities. 
  • Deliver training 
  • Assess their progress through formalized sessions 
  • Work with pre-sales managers to coordinate field rotations and transition plans. 
  • Take part in the recruiting process of Associates 
  • Assist the teams in the qualification of customer needs through discovery 
  • Be a ServiceNow subject matter expert at executive briefings and marketing events 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • 5+ years in field pre-sales or pre-sales management for a global SaaS sales organization. 
  • Experience in or with a talent-development, training, or enablement program, ideally with new grads or early career personnel. 
  • A strong technical background and experience with enterprise software 
  • Strong ability to deliver and facilitate education, ability to collaborate with other facilitators and utilize existing materials. 
  • Proven ability to live up to commitments while maintaining integrity and focus on details 
  • Demonstrated proactive approach to perform without being told what to do 
  • Management experience preferred 
  • Strong team player; demonstrated ability to partner and work across functional departments. 
  • Strong business acumen, strong reporting and analytics, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and project management skills. 
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

For positions in this location, we offer a base pay of $112,200 - $196,400, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs. 

Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located and is subject to change based on work location.
