RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Analysis of the market and its needs regarding strategic products

- Identification and evaluation of new business opportunities;

- Development of marketing communications, ensuring the promotion and commercial activity;

- Growing the global market share , strategic product responsibility;

- Enhancement of product, taking into account technologies involved, lifecycle and application markets;

- Implementation of plans and product development tools;

- Construction of prototype model and its validation with its certification;

- Research and develop new concepts through technical applications of global optimization of products for different markets, aiming at cost reduction, competitive prices and deadlines;

- Conduct benchmarking activities , aiming at bigger and better knowledge of the characteristics of existing product on the market;

- Using virtual simulation in product development tools according to predefined criteria by supporting computer aided engineering, for this to ensure its durability, functionality and applicability before building prototypes, supported methodologies and calculations of life;

- Ensure the production of products with high success rate, both in durability and validation testing as in series production, ie within the time specified for presentation and/or product launch. First time concept of quality;

- Manage research project enforcing the objectives, business plan, deadlines, budget set.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Materials or Industrial Engineering

- Project management (MS Project , etc.) tools;

- Knowledge and application of engineering (CAD/CAE) tools for virtual simulation;

- Knowledge of the practical development and validation of prototypes;

- Domain of Quality tools and test value;

- Knowledge of regulations and general and specific Product Safety ;

- Mastery of English and preferably another language (Portuguese, Spanish, German).

DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Expertise in the area of Product Development;

- Knowledge of technological processes of transformation of materials and products;

- Proficiency in the area of ​​materials , from its characteristics and responses to global availability, prices , equivalents and their applicability;

- Experience in industrial reality (Shop-Floor), preferably in stamping and welding

- Experience in the life cycle of a product, from conception to production;

- Use of Quality tools , ensuring the client's goals and the institution;

- Experience and working knowledge of solving "problems" made ​​in challenges;

SPECIFIC SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

- Experience and working knowledge of automotive suspension systems
