SouthTek Resources is actively searching for a dynamic COO to lead M&A Acquisition processes and Post Acquisition Integration Activities for this customer-driven, agile, responsive SIGINT organization that addresses current and emerging threats to our nations Homeland Defense, Police and Fire, DOD, and Intelligence Communities.

POSITION SUMMARY:

In addition to leading strategic direction of all aspects of an organization's operational policies, objectives, and initiatives, the COO will be deeply involved in due diligence, planning, and Execution of the Acquisition Cycle / Post Acquisition Integration Processes throughout the entire M&A lifecycle, including landscape analysis, pipeline development, strategic due diligence, transaction management and post-merger integration by identifying & deploying best / repeatable processes across the business.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the CEO, this Dynamic M&A Driven COO, will work collaboratively with the Executive Leadership Team to develop and execute the strategic vision and roadmap for the company in order to deliver strong, consistent, double digit growth.  

•    Operations:
      o    Drive the strategic direction of all aspects of an organization's operational policies, objectives, and initiatives.
      o    Responsible for the attainment of short- and long-term financial and operational goals.
      o    Directs the development of the organization to ensure future growth.
      o    Responsible for the strategic direction and successful leadership of an organization in the SIGINT, Defense Electronics, ISR, or DOD Communications Industry.

•    Inorganic Growth, M&A:  

      o    Drive the strategic direction of merger and acquisitions activities.  Lead stages of the M&A process, including landscape analysis, pipeline development, strategic due diligence, transaction management, and play an initial role in post-merger integration.
      o    Evaluate current actionable prospects and help with strategic due diligence and transaction management for active deals.   
      o    Accelerate pipeline development efforts on an ongoing basis to ensure a longer, more robust list of prospective targets.
      o    Drive formal quantitative and qualitative analytical decision support for ensuring the right value for deals and targets.

•    Critical Communication Development:

      o    COO will establish well supported solutions with specific recommendations that will enable the executive management team to make critical go/no go decisions. Lead the development of major presentations for the CEO, and the Board of Directors.

Qualifications

Operations and M&A Qualifications:
•    A minimum of eight to fifteen total years of experience, ideally including work at both a strategic consulting firm and an industrial technology manufacturer
•    The ability to understand the strategic implications of portfolio growth analysis, and to make strong, well supported growth recommendations
•    Excellent Mergers & Acquisition Experience with proven track record of successful M&A transactions throughout the entire M&A lifecycle, including landscape analysis, pipeline development, strategic due diligence, transaction management and post-merger integration
•    Proven capability conducting and managing quantitative portfolio and growth analysis
•    Experience with Engineered Products: Experience working with engineered products, either through industry experience or consulting/banking projects
•    The ability to communicate effectively and succinctly, both verbally and on paper
•    The right candidate will possess a Master’s in Business Administration from a top-tier educational institution. 

A Security Clearance is highly desirable but not mandatory.
