Job Description

Lead the Reconciliations capability across Corporate and Investment Banking(CIB) Operations to deliver fit-for-purpose, market-leading solutions across South Africa (SA) and Africa Regions (AR). Build and adopt industry best practice frameworks, standards, and guidelines, while enhancing the capability's maturity and operational effectiveness using intelligent processing and technology to gain a competitive advantage, mitigate organisational risk, and ensure a consistent client experience.

Ability making trade-offs to optimise risk and return in a context of ambiguity, and drive solution innovation and efficiencies in a way that manages risk and optimises client experience.

Demonstrated experience creating efficiencies through process improvement, automation and establishing appropriate metrics. Implementing initiatives which incorporate digital and/ or platform thinking.

More than 10 years
Working knowledge of financial and accounting principles and life-cycle and interpretation of assets and liabilities and key factors related to Reconciliation and Income/Balance Sheets.
