Job Description

As a Buyer working in Group Procurement, you will:

  • Assist in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) including generation of purchase orders in SAP
  • Manage the procurement process from developing the sourcing strategy, prequalification, sending out the request for proposal, negotiations, supplier selection and follow up including supplier assessment
  • Analyse procurement spend, supply base and buying behaviour
  • Identify areas of repeat spend and establishing Framework Agreements
  • Ensure adherence to procurement processes.
  • Develop sourcing strategies to meet internal customer requirements
  • Monitor and follow-up of suppliers.
  • Analyse the French supply markets to assist in identifying potential suppliers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor / Master’s degree in relevant discipline area or documented experience in the field.
  • 3+ years relevant procurement experience.
  • Fluent in French and English, written and spoken
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to successfully work, educate and support multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with many stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Proactive and a quick learner.
  • Proven track record of high customer satisfaction
