The department as a whole is responsible for the execution of procurement in large projects and category management in OPEX and CAPEX, as well as being responsible for procurement governance, processes and systems.
Job Description
We are seeking a competent, proactive, and committed individual to take on the role as O&M Sourcing Manager. The O&M Sourcing Manager runs non-capital project sourcing processes and is a specialist in tendering, contract negotiations and contract management. The O&M Sourcing Manager ensures that products and services are sourced at competitive total cost and that processes are run in a compliant and efficient manner.
For our office in Madrid or Valencia, we are currently looking to hire a O&M Sourcing Manager
As a O&M Sourcing Manager working in Group Procurement you will:
- Take a strong responsibility for delivering value through procurement for the O&M in Spain and Portugal
- Develop sourcing plans for O&M to meet internal customer requirements.
- Knowledge and previous experience in wind technology.
- Experience in the operation and maintenance of wind farms.
- Previous work experience in the purchasing department of OEMs, preferably in the services and after-market department (spares, services, and MRO) or with Maintenance Service Providers or End Clients (utilities or IPPs).
- Experience in Full Service Agreements, either as a contractor or client.
- Familiarity with the operating model of a wind farm, either as a contractor or client.
- A broad network of suppliers and distributors for spares, components, and consumables.
- A good network of contractors for services: maintenance, cranes, repairs, and other services.
- Manage the procurement process for Spain/Portugal contracts including invitation to tender, clarifications, negotiations, evaluation, contract finalizing and contract award.
- Supplier registration and vetting.
- Identify areas of repeat spend and establishing Framework Agreements.
- Monitor and follow-up of suppliers.
- High commitment to HSSE and quality.
- Previous experience in contracts and SLAs for service contracts.
- Negotiation skills for commercial terms and contracts.
- Analyze procurement spend, supply base and buying behavior.
- Ensure adherence to procurement processes.
- Assist in Procure-to-Pay (P2P) including generation of purchase orders in SAP.
Qualifications
- Bachelor / Master’s degree in relevant discipline area or documented experience in the field.
- 5+ years relevant procurement experience.
- Fluent in Spanish and English/Portuguese is a plus.
- Excellent IT skills (experience with SAP and Jaggaer is an advantage).
- Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to successfully work with, educate, and support multiple stakeholders.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with many stakeholders simultaneously.

Statkraft manages critical infrastructure and services in several countries. The applicant must be eligible for Norwegian security clearance and authorization.
Location and travel: Madrid or Valencia, Spain. Some travelling can be expected.
