Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Asset Management Lead to join our team in Taguig, Philippines. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of our organization's IT assets, ensuring optimal utilization, cost-effectiveness, and compliance.
- Develop and implement comprehensive IT asset management strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Lead and mentor a team of IT asset management professionals
- Oversee the tracking, maintenance, and disposal of all IT assets, including hardware and software
- Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to optimize IT asset investments and reduce costs
- Ensure compliance with licensing agreements and manage software audits
- Implement and maintain IT asset management tools and processes
- Analyze data and generate reports on asset performance, utilization, and lifecycle costs
- Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and service providers
- Continuously improve asset management practices to enhance efficiency and reduce risks
- Provide expert guidance to senior management on IT asset-related decisions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in IT asset management, with a proven track record of leadership
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, software licensing, and hardware lifecycle management
- Proficiency in IT asset management software and inventory management systems
- Excellent financial management and budgeting skills
- Advanced project management and data analysis capabilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations
- ITAM (IT Asset Management) certification preferred
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
