TVI is an award-winning branding, design and interactive agency established in 2002 and located in midtown Manhattan, New York. Our capabilities range from developing long lasting brand identity, websites and content management systems, to print design, animation, search engine optimization and 360 integrated marketing campaigns. 

This is a freelance, onsite or offsite, renewable contract position with a 3-month initial term. We anticipate turning this position into a full time position within 3-6 months.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with UX and graphic designers to translate designs into working products
• Responsible for coding of front end web functionality
• Development of advanced Wordpress themes and non-Wordpress projects
• Planning and development of complex responsive and parallax websites

• Minimum 3 years front end development experience
• Fluency with HTML / knowledge of HTML5
• Fluency with CSS / CSS3
• Understanding of CSS preprocessors; think LESS, SASS
• Experience with JavaScript libraries, particularly jQuery
• Demonstrated expertise in Wordpress theme customization
• High level understanding of cross browser issues and how to overcome them
• Experience with responsive web design, progressive enhancement and media queries
• Must have an online portfolio
