Job Description

Description of specific Duties in a typical workday for this position:

Install, update and monitor PeopleSoft HCM and CRM applications.

Install, update and monitor PeopleSoft components such as WebLogic, Tuxedo, Process Scheduler, Integration Broker, Application Messaging, Windows and Oracle database.

Perform PeopleSoft Application and PeopleTools upgrades for HCM and CRM.

Coordinate refresh of non-production environments.

Provide technical expertise to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve environment related issues for the Web, Application, Batch, File and Database servers.

Assist in debugging PeopleSoft errors with developers and, when needed, with the vendor and in tuning PeopleSoft components.

Enforce policies and procedures with regard to PeopleSoft Administration.

Communicate appropriately and effectively in oral and written form with other developers, managers, vendors, and other IT groups as needed.

Coordinate and assist with the migration and approval of updates, fixes, customizations, and configuration throughout PeopleSoft instances for project team members.

Coordinate and support Disaster Recovery testing.

Daily monitoring of re-occurring jobs and interfaces.

Research and respond to application security vulnerabilities.

Serve as a backup to the PeopleSoft Security Administrator as needed.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree and 4 years related experience; Master’s Degree (IT related field) and 2 years related experience; or 10 years related experience.
Demonstrated ability to be the subject matter expert in supporting, maintaining, and administering complex applications in a Windows Server environment.
Demonstrated troubleshooting abilities on connectivity issues due to firewall, load balancer, proxy, and others.
Experience installing and patching Weblogic, Tuxedo, Java or similar software.
Knowledge of failover, high availability and disaster recovery.
Experience with relational databases and SQL.
Strong organization, communication and documentation skills.
Ability to perform certain work activities outside of normal business hours.

Ability to complete PeopleSoft training within the first 3-6 months of employment if needed.
Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple and changing priorities.
Ability to work as a member of a team, or independently as requested, and carries out all required reporting procedures.
Must be a US Citizen

Nice to Have:

Knowledge of PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) products.

Experience with PeopleSoft 9.x and PeopleTools 8.5x Technology Administration, supporting Oracle and Windows platforms.

Experience with PeopleSoft application and PeopleTools upgrade projects.

Knowledge of PeopleSoft Integration Broker, Change Assistant and PeopleSoft Update Manager (PUM) tools.

Oracle database administration training and/or experience.

This is a full time position paying a base salary, full benefits, and has possible bonus potential based on merit and performance.
