Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Business Partnership
- Primary Financial Business Partner to Executive Producers, Producers, and other members of the Production teams
- Partner with Business Leaders and Senior Finance Leaders to align with overall business strategy
Financial Control and Analysis
- Primary owner of Direct Margin in Project P&L
- Manage all financial aspects of production accounting including biding, cost tracking, cash flow analysis, headcount tracking, variance analysis, forecasting Estimated Final Cost (EFC) and margin analysis
- Collaborate with Producers to estimate and evaluate production health against milestones and data metrics
- Develop and improve the existing toolsets to drive efficiencies and create better control processes
- Collaborate with Producers to track revenue changes on the project (Change Order process)
- Prepare monthly revenue recognition and revenue forecast as a part of month-end close process
- Prepare weekly cash forecast for the projects. Ensure proper forecasting of cash receipts and initiate billings for the on-going projects
- Support Producers and oversee the re-bidding process by monitoring key metrics
- Prepare end of show post-mortems and communicate lessons learned to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
- Identify Production Tax Credit opportunities, prepare Tax Credit applications and coordinate required tax credit audits
- Facilitate financial training for new Producers / Production Managers
- Provide ad hoc production and other operational analysis
- Shift Timing: IST 14:00 to 23:00
Qualifications
Key competences:
- Professional experience in accounting / bookkeeping, including the knowledge of Order to Cash process
- University degree in Finance or Accounting
- Very good command of spoken and written English
- Good knowledge of accounting systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle etc.)
- Good knowledge of MS Office
- Methodical approach to work with a strong focus on accuracy, attention to details, consistency and quality
- Able to demonstrate excellent customer/client facing skills
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills; can clearly explain and present problems and issues to others and contribute to their resolution
- Ability to work in a team and under time pressure, obedience to company's policies
