Job Description

The Columbia Group (TCG), a technical services support company which has a successful 40+ year history of providing the United States Military with acquisition, logistics management, engineering, design, fabrication, test and evaluation, information technology and financial management support services is seeking a Technical Specialist.  The Technical Specialist III will be responsible for accomplishing the tasks described below: 

Provide program technical documentation review and support.

Update and maintain a schedule that identifies all development and support tasks, System Engineering (SE) Technical reviews, Milestone Assessment Team (MAT) events, Independent Logistics Assessments (ILAs) events, Technical Readiness Assessments (TRA) events, and Operational Test Readiness Review (OTRR) events. These items shall be incorporated into the integrated master schedule.

Review and comment on the engineering documentation in support of the acquisition milestone cycle for both systems and software.

Review, and submit comments on the System Engineering Plans. 

Participate in internal and cross organizational IPT meetings, working groups, reviews, and meetings to support each competency and program.

Prepare briefs and presentation material.

Organize, and attend, meetings and IPT discussions as required. In addition, the contractor shall write and submit conference or meeting minutes and agendas.

Write and submit meeting minutes.

Write and submit trip reports

Update and maintain the contents of the PdM FPS Marine Corps Enterprise Information Technology Systems (MCEITS) SharePoint sites for each program and competency area.

Update, review, and manage the Government data repository for program documentation, briefs, and presentations.

Review documents and submit comments in a comment resolution matrix.

Review and provide comments to all Memorandum of Agreements via comment resolution matrix.

Identify, track, and manage programs’ risks.

Develop, review and update the PdM FPS risk management program, risk registries, risk mitigation plans, and review all required logistics related acquisition program documentation for compliance with the PdM FPS Risk Management Program.

Participate in Risk Management Working Groups and Review Boards.

Draft, maintain, and update the Naval Probability of Program Success (PoPS) briefs.

Provide input to and maintain the Integrated Master Schedules and Integrated Master Plans for each program within the PdM FPS portfolio using the current MCSC approved version of Microsoft Project.

Provide input to and comply with FPS programs’ Environmental, Safety, and Occupational Health (ESOH) process.

Develop and maintain Program Management Review, Interim Progress Review and Decision Review briefs.

Support the completion of all PdM FPS taskers.

 

 

Qualifications

BA/BS and 4 years experience (6 years of work experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree)

Experience with ECP's (Engineering Change Proposals) & SEP's (System Engineering Plans)

TRA/ OTRR
