Temp Services is an established service within the University to assist our faculties with temporary cover of professional staff. We are regularly sourcing candidates for a variety of casual and fixed term opportunities we currently have available.
We are looking for IT support professionals to register in our temp pool. The temps will provide IT support and assistance to our end-user community that includes academics, staff and students. We will consider candidates who are available on full-time or part-time hours.
We are seeking for candidates who :
- have at least 2 years IT support experience
- have confidence in setting up and using modern desktop software and peripherals, ideally including Apple computers and devices
- have background in networking, virtual servers, enterprise software tools, database design, coding, web design or video-conferencing would be an advantage
- Asset management experience, attention to detail required
- are customer-oriented and who can confidently interact with end-users and resolve issues
- have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- have the ability to take the initiative and to collaborate well in a team environment
