Job Description
Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
The Academic Services team within The Faculty of Business & Economics has an opportunity for a Programmes Coordinator to join their team on a fixed term basis.
This role provides local academic services support for student and academic-related administrative processes. Each day will be different with an abundance of administrative variety providing an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dynamic environment, working with a highly experienced and knowledgeable team.
Responsibilities include supporting faculty academic activities such as:
- Faculty-based scholarships and prizes
- Faculty academic committees, boards of studies, and/or School examiner meetings, administration supporting annual Calendar amendment and programme maintenance, programme, and course limitation processes
- Degree-specific academic ‘milestone’ activities (e.g., confirming majors, assignment of Honours seminar, etc.).
- Provide assistance and advice at key recruitment and student-facing University events
- Produce documents and presentations and provide day-to-day administrative support for academic committees including minute taking and coordination of meetings
- Deliver services in a mana enhancing way and support the implementation of the te reo Māori language plan in their work
- Any other activities as required by the Academic Services Manager

Please note this is a full time (37.5hours/week) fixed-term position for until 31st March 2023, with a salary range of $47,400 - $62,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
