A little more about our center:
Southview Manor (formerly Southview Care) is a large inner-city skilled nursing (medical) facility. We have and multiple levels of care, including long term care and a large behavioral health population. Many of them were previously homeless.
- We have a 5 Star Quality measure – this means we provide excellent clinical care!
- The average age of our patients is 35-55 and the most common diagnoses are bi-polar and major depressive disorders.
- The Staff and patients are welcoming and say hello as you walk through the hallways.

Job Description
What you will do in this role: The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services Aide (PRSA) is responsible for group and individual psychosocial rehabilitation and case management services to adults within a long term care/nursing home setting. The PRSA will participate with the interdisciplinary team to develop, implement and evaluate effective therapeutic services via facility programming.

Qualifications
Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services Aide (PRSA): officially we title this job a Psychiatric Rehabilitation Services Aide, but in other centers it may be called a PRSA, Mental or Behavioral Health Aide, Social Services Aide, Psychiatric Aide.
What we need from you:
- Ideally - prior experience as a PRSA in healthcare center preferred
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required
- CNA with a minimum of 1 year of experience preferred
- Experience with Point Click Care (PCC) is helpful
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment physical and criminal history background check

This center is managed by TRANSITIONAL CARE MANAGEMENT. We currently provide comprehensive management services to several inpatient healthcare centers throughout Northern IL & the Chicagoland area. These settings include Long-term Care Skilled Nursing (SNFs), Short-term Care Rehabilitation, Intermediate Care (ICFs), and Behavioral Health Service (SMHRFs) centers.
