Job Description
- Advise at a strategic level at the project conception stage, including providing advice on the different approaches that can be adopted in order to successfully achieve the client’s overall objectives
- Leading the establishment of the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters
- Plan for and the ongoing management of quality, safety, health and environment issues
- Establish effective project governance, processes and systems to be utilised throughout project
- Project plan, including ensuring the production of the detailed project plan
- Advise upon the procurement of resources
- Lead and facilitate the overall cross-functional project team
- Monitor and apply performance management techniques, including the use of KPI’s to improve project performance
- Manage the change control process
- Monitor and advise upon project finances
- Manage the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications
- Ensure the production of formal project progress and other reports
- Take a leading role in interfacing with the client and other consultants, at all project stages
- Take responsibility for developing new business opportunities with existing and new Turner & Townsend clients
- Identify and act upon cross-selling opportunities
Qualifications
- Degree qualifications in construction, project management or similar function
- Minimum 10 years' experience in the delivery of hi tech manufacturing (data centers, life sciences, pharma, semi conductor, logistic warehouses) projects specifically in Malaysia, with the recent 2-to 3 years in a similar role
- A team player who is hands-on and meticulous in his/her work
- Possess excellent communication and people handling skills
- Possess initiative and able to work independently
- Able to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Experience working in MNC companies will be an advantage, ability to thrive in a challenging and fast-paced environment
- Meticulous, organized, detail oriented with strong numerical and analytical skills
