Company Description
We’re UCR, a commercial real estate company who’s looking for a driven, creative and enthusiastic Creative Intern to join our Dallas team. This dynamic position will support the UCR corporate marketing department, contributing to design projects to support our rebranding, creating marketing and sales collateral for the brokerage team and working on client-specific retail and restaurant real estate design projects.
This internship will help prepare for a career in design by offering: exposure to creative project workflow, the opportunity to build your design skills on real projects, experience with time management using diverse media and tools in a multi-office environment, exposure to working with outside vendors, and interaction with subject matter experts in PR, Design, Content Marketing, and Production.
This person will report to the Marketing Director, a seasoned design professional with over 20 years of ad agency and corporate experience.
Job Description
Job Responsibilities
Creative
- Design and produce graphics for property marketing including flyers, signage, email, social and web
- Collaborate with the marketing team and on design solutions for digital brochures
- Design print documents such as flyers, presentations, and other collateral
- Work together/experiment to create new ideas for interactive design materials
- Research as needed
- Provide support on production tasks as assigned

- Excellent attention to detail and creative eye or aesthetics in color and typography
- Energetic self-starter who is able to work well in a small team and independently
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to create great working relationships
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
Qualifications
Education/Experience
- Currently attending or recent graduate of a college or university majoring in design or related course of study
Hands on experience with:
- Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
- Microsoft: Word, Excel, PowerPoint
This is a plus:
- Wordpress experience; HTML/CSS
- Campaign Logic, BOX, GoogleDocs experience
- Illustration skills
Additional Information
Work Schedule
Intern's work schedule may be flexible, but should be consistent. We are requesting at least 16 hours per week, to be worked in the office. Computer and software will be provided.
Pay
This is an hourly position and a paid internship. Pay is $9 per hour, with up to 20 hours per week budgeted.
