Job Description

The tuition biller is responsible for the billing of tuition. This position is 100% remote! 

  • Ensure accurate and timely billing of tuition in Campus Nexus/Anthology
  • Collaborate with ERS and Registrars in identifying tuition billing issues and efficiency in billing tuition and reconciliation process.
  • Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOP) of tuition billing process. 
  • Monitor and track daily student account billing transactions.
  • Ensures ethical and accurate documentation and recordkeeping which meets all company and regulatory agency standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and respond to inquiries from the campuses.
  • Assist with ledger reconciliation and/or student payment reconciliations upon request
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree from an accredited university or college with 2 + years of business office or accounting experience required, Preference will be given to individuals with prior experience working in the tuition billing operations for an institution of higher learning,
  • Excellent customer service, oral and written communication, Advanced knowledge in MS Office, Experience in Campus Nexus/Anthology preferred, must have knowledge of basic accounting principles and office systems.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and execute multiple priorities, Works with a sense of urgency and responsiveness, excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, strong time management skills, ability to multi-task in dynamic and changing environment, ability to complete projects on time with minimal supervision
