Job Description

SUMMARY
As the Inventory Coordinator in Orange, TX, you will be accountable for recording and tracking
inventories of materials, supplies, and finished products. You will be responsible in communicating
demand planning, any issues related to inventory availability, and coordinate resolution with the local
site leadership team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
● Assist in leading the Chemsure meeting with the Operations Supervisor.
● Serve as the back-up scheduler for chemsure scheduling.
● Create deliveries for Chemsure, CDS, and Flex as needed.
● Print BOL and put DS packet as needed. Assist with POD and COA requests.
● Review all trailer and bulk pick sheets daily and adjust any discrepancies.
● Responsible for storing, securing, and assigning operating inventories, equipment, and supplies.
● Work thru OVRG / RTNS weighing and moving bins for blend offs. Adjust any errors in SAP to
match weights and add blend offs to process orders.
● Work through QI and blocked stocks.
● Work through QCHD and BLDF with the quality team.
● Run weekly TPOF and TCDS reports to compare repeating lot numbers to keep SAP locations
accurate / up to date on a weekly basis.
● Ensure proper administration of all cycle count procedures and processes; research outstanding
issues related to inventory reconciliation; reconcile any inventory discrepancies and handle any
follow up questions from the site.
● Assure Process orders are reported and documented through SAP, and filed in a timely manner.
● Maintain the housekeeping, 5S standards, cleanliness and organization of the operational areas.
● Prepare, maintain, and distribute reports related to Chemsure, site as required.
● Coordinate the training of new hire chemical operators and support the advancement based on
training and development.
● Help with the creation of process orders in the absence of the Master Scheduler.
● This list is not all-inclusive and may include other duties as assigned and necessary for the
operation and management of the shift and overall plant.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS
● High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
● Minimum of 5 years related batch chemical blending/ formulation experience with hazardous
materials which includes a minimum of 2 years of leadership experience and proficiency in SAP.   

Eligibility Requirements:
● Ability and willingness to work overtime as needed
● Ability and willingness to wear a respirator as required
● Ability and willingness to operate a fork truck

 DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
● Associate Degree (two-year college or technical school) OR minimum of 7 years related batch
chemical blending/ formulation experience with hazardous materials
● Minimum of 5 years of analytical testing experience
● Minimum of 5 years of shift leadership experience
● Ability to direct the flow of production.
● Excellent communication and documentation skills
● Attention to detail and strong math skills
● Strong computer skills
● Team player, individual thinker
● Customer focused; positive attitude
● Emergency response incident commander training and experience.

● Compensation - The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles.  The range is
not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills,
experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity.  Depending upon all the preceding
considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the
stated range: 27-32.60 USD /hr
