Job Description
Work from Home
We seek experienced medical transcriptionists to help us transcribe and translate text of naturally-occurring dialogue between physicians and patients, as well as various other types of pharmaceutical market research audio, to English. Opportunities to transcribe native-language audio also available.Our transcriptionists share the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, have a vast knowledge of medical terminology and therapeutic procedures, and excellent typing and editing skills with the ability to produce highly accurate transcripts and translations from complex dialogue interactions. Responsibilities:
•Accurately transcribe and translate medical interactions in a timely fashion
•Review documents for completeness against audio, correcting errors, omissions and inconsistencies as needed
•Follow provided guidelines
•Consult reference materials including the Internet to maintain knowledge of new procedures and medications and verify information for correctness
•Meet or exceed provided quality and turnaround standards
We will be working with the following languages:
- German - Germany
Qualifications
•Experience translating native-language text to English
•Experience transcribing naturally-occurring dialogue in a verbatim fashion a plus
•Extensive knowledge of medical terminology
•Excellent English language skills
•Experience working with Microsoft Word and the Internet
