Job Description
The Lead Innovation Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing new statistical data reporting standards and modernizing client-facing data reporting workflows for both personal and commercial lines of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of P&C statistical data standards, regulatory and compliance requirements, and an appreciation for how statistical data supports insurance programs, pricing models, and risk management.
The analyst will drive innovation by creating solutions that enhance data accuracy, ensure regulatory compliance, and improve the overall client experience. The role involves collaboration across multiple departments to implement strategies aligned with business goals and emerging technologies. A key focus will be on integrating modern digital solutions to streamline workflows and reporting processes.
The successful candidate will work with key leaders and subject matter experts to gain consensus on a path forward and will define a pilot execution plan that includes key activities, deliverables, and performance indicators, balancing a strategic mindset with practical results.
Throughout the process and once implemented, the analyst will create the necessary communication plan and material to ensure successful adoption by both internal stakeholders and external clients.
Responsibilities:
Develop Standardized Reporting Processes
· Drive the development and implementation of standardized reporting processes that align with evolving regulatory and compliance requirements, as well as industry best practices.
· Ensure that the standards developed promote transparency, accuracy, and efficiency in reporting processes.
Modernize Client Reporting Workflow Solutions
· Design and implement innovative workflow solutions aimed at improving the customer experience, with an emphasis on digital transformation.
· Utilize technology to enhance the efficiency of reporting processes.
Change Management
· Support the development and execution of change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new data reporting standards and modernized workflows.
· Create communication plans and training programs to fully prepare and support internal teams and clients throughout the transition.
Qualifications
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field. Preferred insurance certifications such as CPCU, IDMA, etc.
• 5+ years of P&C insurance industry experience, preferable in regulatory and compliance roles focusing on data reporting and workflow modernization.
• Proven experience in driving innovation initiatives, particularly those that involve cross-functional collaboration and technological integration.
• Experience supporting effective change management strategies.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory bodies and statistical data reporting standards within the insurance industry.
• Familiarity with data analytics tools, automation technologies, and digital platforms.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and a strong self-driven work ethic.
