Job Description

Position Summary
In your new role you will support our Issuer Processing lead on; managing client working groups, project management and contract/procurement management. You will help to develop deep partnerships with Visa's banking clients to increase the volume of payments being processed on Visa's global transaction processing network, VisaNet. In supporting the Issuer Processing Lead, you will also be involved in providing ad hoc support where required. 

In addition to your primary, client-facing accountabilities, you will also collaborate effectively with colleagues from across Visa and Lead by Example to improve the operational efficiency of the issuer processing business.

This role would ideally suit you if you consider yourself a dedicated self-starter who is proactive, communicates openly and has a strong focus on collaboration in achieving objectives.

What an Account Manager in Issuer Processing does at Visa

  • Day to day management of clients:
    Maintain quality of the service, drive projects and resolve issues
    Be the point of contact for clients and provide exceptional support
    Support the Visa Issuer Processing lead on internal collaborations with Legal, Sales, Finance, Client Support Services (CSS) etc…
  • Project management: Monitor project progress and the quality of deliverables through collaboration with the IT team, and coordinate meetings between client, issuer processor and Visa
  • Incident Management: Take end to end ownership of client incidents and work with Visa IT and CSS team to resolve the incident
  • Service Quality Improvement: Ensure the quality of processing services and uphold client commitments
  • Contract / Procurement Management: Lead procurement and contract activities in collaboration with internal teams such as IT, Sourcing and Legal
  • Internal operation support: Responsible for internal team operations such as “Budget / Forecast / Expense management” of issuer processing business working with Finance

This position is expected to work for Visa’s important debit clients and engage in the various initiatives to improve the client product functions as well as the digitalization of the product that also demonstrates the capabilities of Visa debit product.

Qualifications

What you will need

  • Bachelor degree in Commerce, Economics, Engineering, Science or a similar field
  • Approximately 8 – 10 years of commercial experience
  • Knowledge of the payments business including; Transaction processing, platforms, networks, card issuing, merchant acquiring
  • Strong interpersonal skills including collaboration and negotiation
  • To be Independent and proactive
  • Native Japanese language capability and advanced English capability
