What a Consumer Marketing Director does at Visa:

In summary:
This position reports to Head of Marketing Korea and Mongolia with the planning and execution of marketing strategies for the Visa brand and products across key stakeholders, consumer and business cardholders, clients and merchant partners.

Responsibilities
Build the consumer marketing strategy for Korea in alignment with country strategies and business objectives. Specific deliverables include:
• Cross Border travel communications
• Leveraging the global Olympics and FIFA sponsorship assets fully, including co-ordination of Team Visa athletes
• High quality execution of agreed marketing programs, evaluating effectiveness and efficiency of the programs to continuously optimise performance and ensure KPI's are achieved
• Understand and update consumer decision journeys across key audiences, working closely with the AP insights team to continuously update understanding and inform the business
• Collaborate with regional marketing teams to implement activities that support the Visa brand and local business priorities
• Capture all activity, curate and communicate best practices enabling easy sharing of information for marketing, country and other regional teams
• Contribute to annual and campaign planning with a focus on evidence based marketing
• Manage the day-to-day relationships with Visa's creative, media & other agency partners
• Develop thorough business case and agency briefing documents for each marketing initiative.
• Ensure that all marketing programs are in line with global brand and campaign guidelines and take into account global best practices.
• Review the effectiveness of all marketing programs and formulate plans to continuously improve performance, supporting the implementation of research projects as appropriate and providing results to support the business needs
• Manage the Korea marketing budget and forecasts

• Minimum 8 years' experience working in a marketing management role. Ideally in Finance, Telecommunications, Digital agency or applicable industry
• Degree qualification in business/marketing or related field with marketing foundation
