Job Description
The desired candidate will work in the Digital and Developer Platform Organization. The main functions will center around investigation, troubleshooting, monitoring and Level 2-3 support. Also include bug fixing, on-boarding of new customers, and help troubleshoot and reproduce client related issues end to end.
We are looking for a candidate who has a strong work ethic, leadership skills, excellent judgment and good time management in prioritizing work, and the ability to work in fast paced, team oriented environment. They need to gain a solid understanding of the payment industry and leverage this knowledge to troubleshoot internal and external incidents.
1. Understanding of the DDP products, its APIs end-to-end flows, products architecture and gaining systems understanding from infrastructure perspective.
2. Supporting the products on day-to-day basis from monitoring, handling client escalations, working on investigations and business operations tasks, troubleshooting client's reported issues and handling incidents.
3. Setting up the code locally by running the API flows end-to-end to debug and troubleshoot reported issues or addressing problems proactively.
4. Building strong partnership with engineering teams and stakeholders to support daily operations.
5. Owning and supporting product releases from feature understanding, business case validations, any logs improvement, readiness, detecting and calling out any gaps at an early stage.
6. Identifying areas of improvements and contributing towards automating the manual tasks for operational efficiency and governance.
7. Work with little supervision and complete day to day activities with excellent quality and accuracy.
8. Take lead in providing training session and documentation for new features and emerging services and ensure that all staff members are prepared to support the service.
9. Keeping an open mind to present fresh perspective to the existing processes and functions for any improvements.
10. Work towards innovating new ideas based on existing capabilities to solve real problems
Qualifications
Your background will ideally incorporate:
• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related technology field;
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
Functional Requirements
- Experience supporting web and mobile applications and troubleshooting problems in a cross-functional environment.
- Demonstrated ability creating process and documentation for a first-level support team.
- The ability to prioritise critical tasks and coordinate with staff to accomplish them under duress.
- A strong technical aptitude and excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to bridge the gap between Customer Support, Management and staff.
- Experience in Java, SQL and Basic scripting.
