Job Description

Purpose:

To support the Business Development Team responsible for driving performance and programs within Visa Clients.

Assist our group to increase Transactions Volume, Revenues and push forward major initiatives with existing and new clients. Requires strong execution and analytical capabilities to work on problems of intermediate complexity.

Manage and execute projects and deliverables required to support Visa key strategic initiatives and projects.

Support the development of clients initiatives, articulating the benefits provided through Visa product and service offerings.

Specific responsibilities for this role will be to:

  • Performance tracking: Develop scorecards and dashboards that monitor business performance and drive decision-making both to Visa and our clients.

  • Project management: Provide run the business support for initiatives, tracking, problem-solving and project managing operational processes and workflows with other teams.

  • Process diligence: Build and maintain key documentation regarding our policies, sales process and legal forms, helping to enforce compliance.

  • Sales support: Develop sales presentations, organize client and internal meetings, lead client interactions analyzing available Visa solutions for targeted client teams.

  • Client facing: Execute short term plans for Clients. Ensure that such plans adhere to Visa objectives of increasing Clients’ profitability, strengthening the partnership and also being in conformity with Visa overall strategy.

  • Account planning: Run internal management tools to track various initiatives per clients.

Strategic Nature & Scope

  • Collaborate with all internal and external areas including, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Products and Marketing, following Visa policies and rules.

  • Analyze, review, and track all documentation requests to ensure appropriateness and timely fulfillment and ensure clear communications.

  • Report status and metrics weekly to management.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4-6 years of related and client-facing experience including sales and customer relationship, financial services, retail, marketing or banking
  • English and Portuguese with excellent communication skills both verbal and written, Spanish as a plus
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of electronic payments as a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills to influence and build credibility as a ¨peer¨ with the sales team


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 4-6 years of related and client-facing experience including sales and customer relationship, financial services, retail, marketing or banking
  • English and Portuguese with excellent communication skills both verbal and written, Spanish as a plus

  • Emphasis in customer-facing roles including business development, sales and marketing preferred.
