Job Description
Visa’s Talent Acquisition team is seeking a Senior Consultant, Talent Acquisition to join our diverse team of industry leading recruiters. The Senior Consultant, Talent Acquisition will successfully collaborate with hiring team(s) and will play an essential role in driving overall company growth. As a part of the Global Talent Acquisition team, you are on the front line of attracting industry talent that will impact the greater global organization. This role will perform full lifecycle recruiting, while being a strategic partner in support of Visa’s business functions.
Essential Functions
- Serves as a senior consultant by influencing hiring team(s) on talent demand, industry trends, and market intelligence forecast for talent in the development of staffing strategies
- Acts as SME bringing industry perspective and strong business understanding to influence hiring managers to determine and drive hiring objectives
- Provide mentorship and SME level knowledge to Consultant, Analyst and Associate level recruiting team members
- Recognized as an SME and shares best practices and knowledge that enables more effective hiring across clients, hiring teams, and fellow recruiters
- Designs, implements, and executes effective, proactive Talent Acquisitions strategies and proposes operational efficiencies to Global TA (Talent Acquisition) Leadership
- Partners successfully with cross-functional TA Teams in include, but not limited to our Sourcing, Coordinating, Onboarding, DE&I, and Compensation teams
- Possess a deep business understanding of future business initiatives and skill gaps to generate exploratory candidates for new initiatives, future roles, especially around diversity, etc.
- Drives and implements best-in-class recruitment process to help achieve key staffing metrics, to include Time to Fill and Time to Start
- Participates in Special projects as assigned, such as review and propose social media strategies, data management and analytics and branding
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
- Experience with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS), SmartRecruiters a plus
- Prior utilization of social media outlets for sourcing efforts, to include job boards such as LinkedIn
- Deep experience implementing Talent Acquisition best practices
- Results oriented, self-motivated, organized, and resourceful
- Detail oriented with a proven track record of juggling multiple tasks and meeting various deadlines
- Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Windows, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Prior experience recruiting within the Fin Tech industry
- Deep understanding of Visa’s culture, technology offerings and corporate structure
- Team player with the ability to work virtually with global team-members
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Exceptional planning, organization, and project management skills
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 120,900 to 206,350 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
