Visa Direct is a payment service that Visa provides to clients (issuers, acquirers, processors, merchants and payment service providers) to facilitate fund transfers/disbursements to people around the world for Card, Account and Digital Wallets products. This role covers both sides of Visa Direct product – Card and Account/ Wallets.

The Solution Manager will play a critical role in the development of this rapidly growing business. Working as part of a growing team with a start-up culture, and supported by strong strategy, global product and technical teams, he/she will be responsible for providing consultancy services to originators and to identify, define, and initiate execution of real-time payment technical solutions - keeping in mind evolving market, client and consumer needs and with the objective of driving significant future market growth for Visa.

The role has direct responsibility for enablement of regional and local Europe region Acquirers. The role holder must possess a unique combination of technical skill, deep understanding of payments, mobile technology, processing, banking systems, consumer behavior, SLDC and Visa’s business. Key Responsibilities/accountabilities

Key responsibilities/accountabilities

  • Engage European Acquirers, Financial Institutions, PSPs, Processors, Merchants, and deliver agreed targets for Visa Direct enabler and originator enablement and growth
  • Lead consultancy on best practices covering all aspects of Visa Direct origination for card, account and wallets solutions
  • Work with clients and partners to drive enablement and setup optimisation that will facilitate revenue growth
  • Drive definition of technical solutions that meet partner and Visa growth objectives
  • Contribute to the optimisation of the current delivery framework and processes to accelerate time to revenue – identifying trends and proposing solutions for common client pain points
  • Contribute to the product and process enhancements, identifying areas of improvements and implementing solutions
  • Project manage and communicate the enablement and optimisation of new and existing clients
  • Report against OKRs of their portfolio of clients

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Mid-level experience in a Programme/Product role for new payment product technologies and capabilities – including technical/commercial/advisory
  • Ability to balance complex mix of interpersonal skills, technical proficiency, and commercial judgement to drive outcomes
  • Significant experience simplifying the complex and removing commercial and technical barriers to execution
  • Experience in engaging with 3rd party vendors
  • Good understanding of the payments compliance landscape
  • Significant experience working across European markets in the payments sector
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, both written and verbal
  • Passion for future of payments
  • Excellent analytical skills and exposure in the latest BI tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI etc.)
  • Solid understanding of modern technologies (e.g. APIs, cloud solutions etc.)
  • Excellent Programme/Project Management skills. Exposure in both Waterfall and Agile frameworks is a must
  • Good understanding of the full Software Development Lifecycle
  • Unbounded intellectual curiosity and bias for action
  • Driven, resilient, with attention to detail, great with numbers and positive under pressure
  • Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
