Job Description
Enforce cost schedule and contract scope control. Review and evaluate the Contractor’s schedules , plans, performance and procedures. Conduct monthly earned value analysis (EVA), and compile ovall cost reports.
Review and endorse progress measures reported by the contractors & report progress to client.
Prepare weekly, monthly report/update & business performance review reports etc for management and joint venture partners. Manage project change ordes, (MOC) processes, and Update cost forecasts to project completion. Compile and desiminate project cost information o relevant parties, adverse project manager on cost challenmges in advance
Develop project specific control procedures or adapt existing procedures to suite current project and update procedures as required as project progresses through the various oportunity rialisation gates(ORP).
Interact with Team Leaders on a day to day activities on site/office by providing relevant information such as 2 weeks look ahead schedules for Project management team.
Participate in client monthly HSE meetings & observe all life saving rules, HSE procedures at site.
Qualifications
1. 8 Years relevant experience(minimum) in the Oil & Gas Industry of which 6 years should be in preferably in Project Environment: · Cost Engineering/Controls · Cost Estimating 2. Proficiency in SAP, EPC Contract Management & Spreadsheet (MSExcel) management(perfect analytical skills)
3. University Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying or the Sciences.HND in Quantity Surveying with MBA or M.Sc. ( M. Sc in project management is added advantage)
4. Fluent in spkoen and written English Excellent Inter-personal and leadership skills with good communication skills (i.e. report writing and presentations) are essential. 5. Knowledge of HSE Procedures will be an advantage
