Job Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible to run operations smoothly, lead and coach a team, manage multiple stakeholders and aim to drive efficiencies and transformation within the process based on his/her experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end PTP process, including vendor onboarding, purchase order management, invoice processing, payments, and issue resolution.
- The incumbent will be expected to work in the US shift (530 PM – 230 AM IST). Being flexible to adjust within reason as required
- Manage and develop the PTP team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions.
- Act as the single point of contact for PTP-related matters with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor SLAS / KPIs and drive continuous improvement to optimize efficiency and service levels.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls, compliance, and audit requirements.
- Collaborate with the transformation team to streamline PTP processes.
- Support system enhancements, transitions, and automation initiatives (e.g., SAP etc).
- Handle escalations and resolve issues with a customer-centric approach.
- Should lead the team through transition of new work ensuring all the elements of a transition (scope definition, documentation, training, accreditation, resourcing, systems access, etc) are completed
- Provide regular reports and analysis to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 12-15 years of relevant experience in PTP / Accounts Payable, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of PTP processes, controls, and systems (SAP is preferred
- Experience of vendor portal is an advantage
- Proven ability to manage teams and deliver operational excellence.
- Excellent communication in English, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in process transformation, automation, and project management is an added advantage.
