WHAT WE DO

Western Digital India Team represents Engineering R&D, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Strategy, Business

Functions and Communications. We have a large R&D presence in Bengaluru and sales offices across the country.

WD Bangalore is a Center of Excellence and within R&D, our team is focused on firmware development enterprise Hard Disk Drive development. It is a growing team that has within 2 years been responsible for key enterprise products, delivered the highest performing, lost cost, air datacenter hard disk drive and has been instrumental in design, development of next generation architecture and products.

• Evangelize and ensure lab policies and etiquette of Lab usage is met all times, lab recovery plan upon infrastructure issue (power and network failures) and proactively liaise with respective parties on solution, corrective action and prevention.
• Vendor Interaction, Procurement , Gate pass management , Periodic audits, Test Infra Management & Escalations , Warranty Management  & E-Waste  Management ,Logistics coordination , Lab movement activities.
• Test the apps with latest Android / iOS / Windows / macOS beta and public versions for compatibility ;Understand and  test all the new features of the new OS with respect to WD apps
• Testing the new features/ implementations of the releases

• Any bachelor's degree
• 6-9Yrs experience in Lab  and Inventory management
•  Good communication and collaboration skills
• Technical mindset with great attention to detail and an ever positive, can-do attitude.
• Demonstrate use of out-of-box thinking for creative solutions to highly sticky problems.
• Experience in Software tsting/validation
