Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Production Planner to join our team in Shanghai, China. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for optimizing production schedules, managing inventory levels, and ensuring efficient resource allocation to meet customer demands.
- Develop and maintain production schedules using advanced planning software and techniques
- Analyze production data and market trends to forecast future demand and adjust plans accordingly
- Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production flow
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal stock
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance production efficiency and reduce costs
- Prepare and present regular reports on production performance and key metrics
- Ensure compliance with Chinese manufacturing regulations and quality standards
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to align production plans with overall business objectives
- Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues in a timely manner
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytic.
- 5-10years of experience in production planning or a related role within the manufacturing industry
- Proficiency in production planning software, ERP systems, and MRP
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including data analysis and forecasting techniques
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and lean manufacturing concepts
- Knowledge of Chinese manufacturing regulations and standards
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
- Strong organizational abilities and capacity to manage multiple priorities efficiently
- Effective communication skills in both English and Mandarin Chinese
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Kaizen) is a plus
