Job Description Summary:

  • Responsible for activities and operations in the Accounts Payable function for Sandisk Finance Organization (SSC Philippines). The person will supervise the functional process of Accounts Payable particularly Global Payments, Travel & Expense and Invoice Processing Team.

Job Description

As an AP Supervisor, you should have the required expertise to:

  • Supervise the daily operations of either AP Invoice Processing, Global Payments and Travel & Expense and ensure alignment, reporting and communication including facilitating the daily visual management, implementation of appropriate backup systems, monitoring of daily performance, issues, and productivity and stakeholder escalations
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Standard Operating Procedures for all processes
  • Ensure compliance to internal control standards
  • Ensure regular and updated monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation for the assigned region and accounts.
  • Review and reconcile vendor accounts on a regular basis.
  • Facilitate correct and timely clean up drive for AP Trade and GRIR accounts.
  • Resolve issues, analyze aging and open GR reports to solve pending issues.
  • Provide accurate internal operational performance reporting to include KPIs, key accomplishments, issues and challenges
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and on-going projects
  • Generate various weekly AP, Payment and T&E reports
  • Act as Team’s POC for internal and external audit requirements
  • Execute the end-to-end Payments process for the assigned entities (if any)
  • Support and/or perform the T&E audit and processing
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related professional qualifications – Certified Public Accountant (preferred but not required)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Accounting/Finance function – preferably in Accounts Payable or Procurement
  • Knowledgeable with ERP systems (Oracle and/or SAP)
  • Experience in online banking systems such as JPM Access & Citidirect (preferred but not required)
  • Experience in using SAP Concur System, Service Now
  • Strong understanding of the Source to Pay business process
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to work under time pressure and handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy, integrity, accountability, and good problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to support a team, including building a collaborative approach in the development of the direction and operations
  • Strong writing, communications, interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audience
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement
