Job Description

Wynn Las Vegas is seeking a highly skilled, passionate, and analytical e-learning professional who would be responsible for developing and designing learning material, coordinating and reviewing educational content, and incorporating current technology in developing specific eLearning curricula. The E-Learning Specialist will also utilize LMS reporting capabilities and develop custom reports to assist with planning and supporting the company’s learning and development initiatives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the Learning Management System (LMS), managing audiences, launching new courses, creating scripts and videos, designing e-learning for property-, division- and department-wide initiatives.
  • Develop and implement innovative and interactive e-learning courses using authoring tools such as the Articulate Suite.
  • Apply adult learning theory and instructional design principles to effectively design learning materials and job aids for both virtual instructor-led training (VILT) and e-learning.
  • Oversee annual compliance training participation and assessments to assure company-wide completion.
  • Stay current with relevant guest surveys, engagement survey data, compliance completion requirements, and other relevant metrics.
  • Evaluate and analyze learner data to identify areas for improvement and optimize learning outcomes.
  • Document processes and creates efficiencies in workflow.
  • Track attendance for all Learning & Development programs.
  • Engage in self-directed work, creating and maintaining timetables for projects and managing deadlines and resources.
  • Assist in research and recommendations for new programs, methods, partners, and vendors.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed or requested.

  • Must be 21 years of age or above.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Requires general computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in learning & development, communication, education, and/or other related fields.
  • Excellent instructional design and course development skills.
  • Proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of learning theories and best practices.
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS).
  • Experience with e-learning development.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Must possess outstanding organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills, as well as excellent attention to detail.
  • Passion for creating engaging and impactful learning experiences.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests.
  • Fluency in English required, second language a plus.
  • Ability to write detailed instructions and correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations.
