Casa Playa is a coastal Mexican restaurant that focuses on fresh seafood, seasonal ingredients and a house-made masa program. The menu from Chef Sarah Thompson is designed to be enjoyed family-style, with many interactive large-format dishes that build on each other, including the pork belly al pastor and whole snapper tempura, accompanied by house-made tortillas. The beverage program includes an extensive tequila and mezcal selection that is elevated and inspired by modern, fun, bright and innovative techniques and flavors featured in specialty cocktails, like the spicy yet cooling Obsidian margarita.

Job Description

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for operating the outlet efficiently within pre-established cost controls, managing, scheduling and training restaurant staff, monitoring staff performance, maintaining the department in accordance with Health Department standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction through application of outlet and Wynn Las Vegas service standards.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must be able to communicate, read and write in English fluently and in a professional manner. Ability to communicate in a second language (Spanish) is highly desired.
  • Requires prior experience in food & beverage and a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory position in a fine-dining/high-end restaurant.
  • Candidate must exhibit strong motivational and developmental skills.
  • Requires the ability to work efficiently and within a team environment.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position at all times.
  • Applicants must be 21 years of age or above.
