Job Description

The Nightlife and Daylife Club Bartender / Marketing Model is responsible for providing superior guest service while interacting and serving alcoholic/non-alcoholic drinks. Service should be consistent with Forbes 5 Star Standard rating. All duties and assignments are to be performed according to departmental and Wynn company standards.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet, interact, entertain and serve guests courteously with an upbeat attitude
  • Obtain beverage orders from guests in a timely manner
  • Organize and prioritize service per appropriate service sequence to ensure that order requests are correct and properly presented
  • Handling cash and credit transactions at the point of sales system
  • Mixing beverages, serving beverages and amenities in all areas of the pool and nightclub
  • Garnish beverages as needed per department standards and recipes
  • Keep bar top, service station and work areas clean and organized
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic workstation in accordance with Clark County Health Standards
  • Maintain opening, running and closing service equipment par, product and supply par
  • Ensure proper rotation of all liquor, beer, wine and consumable items
  • Follow specific specialty cocktail recipes when dispensing drinks
  • Recognize and acknowledge when guests are becoming intoxicated and/or are intoxicated
  • Refuse further service of alcohol to intoxicated guests in a courteous and safety-minded manner
  • Prepare and process guest checks and payments by cash, credit card, room charges and all other tender types through POS terminal functions
  • Ensure accurate accounting of all bar monies and independent banking procedures
  • Ensure daily/nightly opening and closing duties are completed
  • Adhere to and enforce company specific safety and health department policies/procedures
  • Report any incidents or violations to management
  • Follow all designated emergency procedures
  • Attend required trainings
  • Marketing and promoting pool and nightclub events both on property and on Social Media platforms
  • Maintain social platforms as indicated by management and participate in marketing campaigns via social media

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 21 years of age
  • Minimum of 2-3 years work experience in a high-volume beverage or nightclub setting
  • Must be able to communicate in English with guests and other team members
  • Must be able to work efficiently within a team environment
  • Must have the ability to withstand high temperatures, heat and sun
  • Must adhere to both company and department specific policies and procedures
