Job Description
The Salon Assistant Manager is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations of the Salons and ensure that all standards are maintained by staff. This position is also responsible for providing leadership to enhance employee engagement and guest satisfaction
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage tasks necessary for daily salon operations
- Order and stock both backbar and retail inventory
- Maintain inventory for supplies
- Conduct employee feedback and counseling
- Service and address guests and guest issues
- Coordinate any work or maintenance in the Salon facility
- Monitor and assist employees when needed
- Assist with interviewing and hiring
- Assist with staff meetings
- Assist at reception desk when needed
- Assist with special projects and events
Qualifications
- Experience in a supervisory position at a luxury resort
- High school diploma or the equivalent
- Excellent customer service skills and telephone etiquette
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Alcohol Awareness (TAM) card
- Health Card (food handler’s card)
- 21 years of age or older
