Job Description
The Pro Shop Coordinator is responsible for providing support to Wynn Golf Club and its operations as one of the premiere golf experiences in North America. Pro Shop Coordinators should be knowledgeable in golf and retail operations in order to maintain the high level of service standards at Wynn Las Vegas.
Job Responsibilities
Specific job responsibilities will include tasks and daily operations in support of the Wynn Golf Club and the Pro Shop. This includes but is not limited to checking in golfers, collecting green fees, answering phone calls and delivering exceptional guest service. The Pro Shop Coordinator is also responsible for sales, product knowledge and retail operations for the Pro Shop.
- Responsible for maintaining the Wynn and Forbes standards of service to guests and coworkers at all times
- Provides accurate, appropriate and immediate response to guest requests while anticipating needs to ensure complete guest satisfaction
- Responsible for being able to multi-task golf operations, retail and guest service tasks
- Responsible for checking in golfers and collecting green fees
- Responsible for utilizing product knowledge for golf operations and retail
- Responsible for ensuring standards of cleanliness, visual presentation and organization in all work areas
- Receive and verify merchandise for quality and accuracy
- Responsible for retail point of sale and cash handling accuracy
- Responsible for supporting golf operations, assistant managers, managers and director
Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older to apply
- Requires a strong working knowledge of a computerized cash register
- Requires a minimum of one year cash handling experience in a fast paced environment
- Must possess strong communication skills, written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft office
- Prior knowledge of hospitality and golf systems such as Opera, Simphony and GolfNow OpenCourse are preferred but not required
- Prior knowledge of the game of golf is preferred but not required
