Job Description

As an Application Engineer at Yodle you will be the point person for any third-party software integrated with our platform. This includes, but is not limited to, Salesforce, Contact Center and Billing platforms. You will be working with the business stakeholders and engineering teams to understand their needs so that you can design and implement solutions in these systems to support them.

What you will do :

Propose, implement and maintain standards for administration, maintenance, and support of Salesforce, Contact Center, and Billing platforms

Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and define system requirements to support business processes

Collaborate with multiple business units and Product Development teams to ensure alignment of requirements with system capabilities

Design solutions to business problems, and implement these solutions via configuration and/or scripting in Salesforce, Contact Center, and Billing platforms, and related systems

Evaluate, install, and configure new third-party applications in Salesforce from AppExchange

Analyze complex system and system-related problems for the business and make recommendations for improvements or new designs

Create and implement test plans and ensure the test/sandbox environments have appropriate test data

Perform testing of system upgrades and patches, and assist in defining user acceptance testing scenarios

Update/create user and technical documentation, operational support documentation, and general project documentation including project charters, roadmaps, and plans

Identify and communicate risks, issues and potential solutions, as well as regular status updates to stakeholders and senior leadership


Qualifications

What you will have :

Demonstrated Salesforce installation, administration, and configuration experience

Proficient in Apex, Apex Web Services and Apex Callouts

Experience with architecture, system design, configuration, customization, integration and testing, product release and application support

Familiar with conducting requirement gathering sessions with respect to Salesforce and other cloud based applications

Understanding of business metrics that drive management decisions, and the ability to build reports and queries to support such metrics

Strong consensus and relationship-building skills, with experience marshaling resources across an organization

Ability to quickly grasp concepts and solve complex problems

Time management skills, and the ability to be flexible and creative

Strong written, verbal and presentation skills

Strong project management skills

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio, and Project Management tools

Strong technical background is required. A technical degree is a plus

Salesforce Administrator Certification is preferred
