We assist travellers in making smarter travel decisions by leveraging artificial intelligence, machine learning and data science led innovations on our OTA platforms, comprising our websites and mobile applications.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Book Editor and Content Developer to collaborate with our founder on transforming recorded interviews and transcriptions into a compelling book. This role requires exceptional communication skills, a deep understanding of technology and tech companies, and a strong background in publishing. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, the ability to structure content into chapters and segments, and a talent for crafting engaging narratives, while taking ownership of the project.

Areas of Responsibility:

• Review and analyze recorded interviews and transcriptions to identify key themes, insights, and backstories.
• Organize content into chapters, segments, and cohesive narratives that resonate with startup founders and the broader tech community.
• Collaborate to ensure clarity, accuracy, and alignment with the intended message.
• Conduct additional interviews to fill any gaps in the existing content.
• Transcribe and edit new interviews to seamlessly integrate them into the book.
• Craft compelling introductions, conclusions, and transitions to enhance the overall flow of the book.
• Develop an understanding of the target audience and tailor the content to their needs and interests.
• Proofread and edit the entire manuscript to ensure grammatical accuracy, coherence, and consistency.
• Help in the publishing process.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience as a book editor, content developer, or similar role in the publishing industry.
• Strong knowledge of the technology sector and familiarity with the inner workings of tech companies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to structure content effectively.
• Proficiency in conducting interviews and transcribing them accurately.
• Detail-oriented mindset with an eye for grammatical accuracy and consistency.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with the founders.
